These buffers are made of tempered spring steel sheet. They are characterised by high resilience: they do not get damaged even when hit with a high speed and absorb the force of the trailer impact against the face of the building. Additionally, they are resilient to vertical forces because the trailer bumpers slide over their steel surface during handling works.

Spring buffers are available in two sizes: 600 mm and 800 mm. a higher buffer may be installed 200 mm above the floor level (additional bracket required), thereby extending the dock capabilities to service, e.g. containers.
